The waste gas is cleaned in a complex treatment system with seven consecutive filter elements including two quenchers in series and a special mercury recovery system. With this process, the emissions such as heavy metals and dioxins are reduced even lower than stipulated by the latest regulations.
The CITRON laboratory is equipped with the most advanced measuring devices such as a fully automated X-Ray diffraction unit and an ICP system (Inductive Coupled Plasma atomic emission spectroscopy ). All incoming waste is analysed and all process parameters and emissions are monitored on a continuous basis.
