Today's business activities are characterized by a significant increase in social and environmental awareness. Industry is facing growing pressure towards production processes with closed-loop material flows.
CITRON has developed a high technology recycling process to achieve this goal in the most cost effective manner, even for waste which until today had to be landfilled: the Oxyreducer™ process.
A new plant using the Oxyreducer™ was put into operation in September 1999. Thus, two key strategies were achieved:
to increase the amount of waste which can be recycled by using a flexible treatment process
to reduce recycling costs by operating a large plant of 130'000 tons capacity per year
